Our comprehensive wellness program for kids focuses on four essential pillars: Nutrition, Mindset, Movement, and Rest. Each aspect is designed to promote holistic health and well-being, ensuring that children develop healthy habits that last a lifetime.

Nutrition

Our program emphasizes the importance of feeling with food and fueling your body to feel good and letting food be a joyful experience.

We provide:

  • Mindful Food Experiences: Interactive sessions that teach kids about the different foods, the importance of hydration, and paying attention to how our food makes us feel.
  • Hands-On Activities: Kids can learn to prepare nutritious snacks they enjoy. Kids can get Curious and Creative and put together snacks that are yummy and fun to eat.

Mindset

We nurture a positive and resilient mindset in children through:

  • Mindfulness Training: Activities that teach mindfulness techniques such as breathing, meditation, and mindfulness to help kids manage stress and improve focus.
  • Positive Thinking Exercises: Practices that encourage gratitude, positive self-talk, and resilience.
  • Emotional Intelligence Development: Activities and discussions that help kids understand and express their emotions healthily.

Movement

Physical activity is a core component of our program, with activities designed to be fun and engaging:

  • Exercise: Play, games, and fitness routines that ensure kids get time to move their bodies.
  • Outdoor Adventures: Organized outdoor activities and games, to promote fitness and social skills.
  • Dance session to allow kids to move however they want to music that sparks joy.

Rest Relaxation techniques

We prioritize adequate rest and quality sleep as part of our wellness strategy:

  • Recharging : Sharing the importance of recharging and how it affects overall health and well-being. How kids can recharge and that it looks different for everyone.
  • Relaxation Techniques: Activities such as storytelling, music,visualization, and relaxation exercises to help kids unwind and prepare for restful sleep. Helping kids understand how they can help themselves feel calm and relaxed.
  • Consistent Routines: Guidance on establishing and maintaining a consistent bedtime routine to promote better sleep habits.

Sample Agenda for a 90-Minute Aftercare Program for 6-9 Year Olds

Welcome and Warm-Up Mindset Activity: Gratitude Circle 10 minutes Kids sit in a circle, introduce themselves, and say one thing they liked or are grateful for about their day.
 Movement: Fun Stretching Routine 5 minutes A series of playful stretches to get their bodies moving and ready for the session.
Gratitude and Joy Game Game: Gratitude Musical Chairs 20 minutes Traditional musical chairs, but when a child is out, they share something they are grateful for or something that brings them joy.
Affirmation Jenga Affirmation Jenga20 minutes Kids play Jenga. Each time they remove a block, they write something positive on it that might make someone else feel good.
Closing and Cool Down Discussion: Share One Thing 3 minutes Each child shares one thing they enjoyed about the session.

Body Scan Mindfulness Mindfulness Practice: Guided Body Scan 10 minutes A guided session where kids focus on relaxing each part of their body from head to toe.
Relax and Recharge Discussion: Share One Thing 10 minutes Each child shares one thing they enjoyed about the session. Kids then individually do something that relaxes or recharges them.
